The descaling cycle is com-
plete and the machine can
be used to brew products.
Note: At the end of the desca-
ling cycle the “Intenza” fi lter,
that was removed from the water
tank at the beginning of the cycle,
can be installed again.
After installing the filter, before
brewing coffee, dispense a cup of
water using the hot water function
(see section “Hot Water Dispensing”).
If a new “Intenza” fi lter is installed
perform the procedure described in
the section “INTENZA Water Filter”.
• Turn the selector switch back to the “ ”
position.
• The machine needs the priming of the
water circuit.
Turn the selector switch clockwise to
the “
” position until the priming
cycle is complete.

• The machine now carries out the
warm-up and rinse cycle to prepare for
product brewing.
• Remove the descaling liquids from the
drip tray.
The descaling solution must
be disposed of according
to the manufacturer’s instructions
and/or regulations in force in the
country of use.
After completing the desca-
ling cycle, wash the brew
group as described in the “Brew
Group” section in the “Cleaning and
Maintenance” section.
Reassemble the external part of the Pan-
narello.
