Signal Level Measurement 

General 

The main red tuning keys let you select groups of channels according to your needs.

After you have selected one of these tuning modes, the DisplayMax begins measuring both the audio and video carriers of all 
channels in that mode.  It keeps scanning and updating those channels until you select another mode.

To change the cursor Channel: 

Press Right or Left Arrow, or use Number followed by ENT 

To change reference lines:

 

Press F2 to toggle between, FCC, 10 dB, and None 

To change test location for check function: 

Press F4 to toggle between Drop, Ground Block, Tap, and User 

To check levels against limits:

 

Press F3 Check. 
Inactive channels must be deleted in Setup for correct results. See section 1.2 for details. 

To change tuning mode: 

Press another red tuning mode key.  The cursor will tune to the same channel in the new mode if it exists, if not, the cursor will 
tune to the first available channel in the new mode. 

 

Attenuation and calibration are automatic.
