original protection features, we need your cooperation: it is recommenda-
ble to carefully read this manual and, should doubts arise, contact Sabelt’s
Customer Care.
iNfoRMAtioN NotE foR thE USER
Your Sabelt garment is designed to be used as safety clothing for car racers only.
Any other use is expressly prohibited, including Kart racing.
This garment cannot protect from all dangers incurred during car races.
In general, this garment protects from fire and transmission of heat from a fire
for a limited time as required by the Homologation Regulations; however, it
cannot offer full protection from heat sources and fire.
SIzE AnD APPlICAtIOn
The user shall make sure the garment is not too tight, as this decreases the level
of protection, and that it is comfortable to wear in real conditions of use.
In order to reach the maximum level of protection, all protection garments
should be used, as described in Annex L, Chapter III, Article 2 of FIA’s interna-
tional sport code.
It is to be noted that neck, wrists and ankles are the most vulnerable parts.
Neck, ankles and wrists shall always be protected by at least two protection
elements.
