Start up
The espresso machine JOLLY is to be installed to comply with the applicable federal, state or local plumbing codes
having jurisdiction exclusively by authorised technical service.
BOILER FILLING
•
Open the water tap and switch on the main electrical switch.
•
Turn the on/off switch (fig. 1,4) from position ‘’

’’ to position ‘’

The lights are on at the same time:
Green light indicate that the machine is powered (every time lighted)
Red light shows that the
water level in the boiler it’s not enough (lighted during w
ater fill)

At the first start up the boiler is empty and therefore the automatic water refill system starts.
Note: after about 180 "the automatic boiler load function stops because the load time-out occurs. The machine signals
the time out condition with an acoustic indicator.

Repeat this operation until the level in the boiler is reached.
REACHING OPERATIVE LEVEL
•
The machine signals the reaching of the operative level with:
Red light is turned off
Green light turned on indicate that the water has reached the operative level
HEATING
•
Once the machine has reached the operative level it's possible to start the heating element by turning the
main switch (fig.1,4) on the position ''

' and wait till the boiler pressure has reached the working pressure (1-
1.2 bar approx). You can check it on the gauge (fig, 1.8).

To begin the dispensing of the espresso, insert the filter holder (fig.2) into the coffee brewing group (Fig.1,6).
Put the cups beneath the spouts and start the dispensing.
