Intended and improper use

The automatic backflush filter F450 exclusively serves for the filtration of the op-
erating  medium  indicated  in  the  acceptance  report.  The  admissible  operational
data registered on the name plate are to be kept. The filter satisfies the require-
ments of the EC Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and the ATEX-Directive
94/9/EC.



Reading this operation manual as well as keeping all references contained in,
appertain to the intended use. That applies in particular to the notes of cau-
tion!



Furthermore  the  requirement  to  strictly  follow  the  operating  instructions,  the
inspections and maintenance regulations.



Any malfunction possibly impairing the safety must be cleared immediately!



The filter is designed for continuous operating parameters. After longer shut-
down  periods  the  filter  insert  must  be  cleaned  before  a  renewed  start-up,  if
necessary.

Any  other  use  or  any  use going  beyond  the rules  (e.g.  at  higher  operating  tem-
peratures or operating pressures) will be regarded as an improper use, whereby
the declaration of conformity will lose the validity. The manufacturer will not be li-
able for any damage resulting there from. The user of the automatic backflush fil-
ter F450 is responsible for all property and personal damage which develop from
not intended use.

The automatic backflush filter F450 is designed according to the  state of the art
and the recognized safety-relevant rules. Nevertheless, its use might cause dan-
ger to the users or third person’s lives and limbs or impair the filter or other intrin-
sic values.

In order to avoid damage or lethal injuries with the use of the automatic backflush
filter F450, the following points are to be considered:



The filter has to be used only in a technically faultless condition and accord-
ing to intended purpose.



Inform yourself about the correct operating before switching on of the device.



Read the chapter 1 "safety".
