Semi-automatic dispensing of espresso
Key E has to be used for semi-automatic dispensing of espresso .
Press key “E” to begin the supply and
press again to stop the supply.
Dispensing hot water
The automatic dispensing of hot water is given by pushing the related key on the separate touch pad
(fig.1,4). The hot water is dispensed from the hot water wand (Fig.1,3).
Caution: The wand becomes extremely hot during hot water dispensing and can cause burns. Do not
touch !!

Steam dispensing
The hot steam is dispensed from the steam wand.(fig. 1.2) by turning the steam handle (fig.1.1).
Caution: The wand becomes extremely hot during steaming and can cause burns. Do not touch !!
To avoid milk rests to dry on the wand, we strongly recommend to clean the wand with a humid non
abrasive cloth after every use. Pay attention during this operation: the wand becomes extremely hot during
steaming and can cause burns.
Attention:
on the coffee machine ELLIPSE there is an emergency switch (fig.1,8). This is to be used in case
of defects of the coffee touch pads. By pressing it you can go on working on the machine by using the first
touch pad left in semiautomatic version.
