Cars without telematics unit in the centre of
the torsion compartment and without bracket
fitted by the REC:
Continue with step 117.
Cars without telematics unit in the centre of
the torsion compartment but where the
bracket is fitted by the REC with amplifier or
CD changer:
Remove the connector for the
amplifier and the CD changer and unplug the
small connector from the large connector.
Cars without telematics unit in the centre of
the torsion compartment but where the
bracket is fitted by the REC with amplifier
and CD changer:
Remove the connector for the
CD changer and unplug the small connector
from the large connector.

Cars without telematics unit in the centre of
the torsion compartment but where the
bracket is fitted by the REC with amplifier
and/or CD changer:
Remove the fibre optic
cable which is connected to position 1 in the
connector that was removed by opening the lock
in the connector and carefully lifting the hook.
Carefully guide the fibre optic cable away so that
it is not damaged.
