DURING USE
OPERATING THE SA POWERNET EX SPLITTER UNIT
Position and set up the Splitter Unit according to the previous instructions.
Check that the Splitter Unit is safe for use and has no defects, paying particular attention to the
external cables and the electrical enclosures.
The Splitter Unit can then be connected to the correct supply. The supply voltage should be within the
voltage range shown on the product type label.
The supply voltage should not vary by more than +/-10% of the voltage on the product type label.
Maximum current is 16A unless otherwise stated on the marking label. Please ensure that the
equipment connected does not exceed the maximum rating of the splitter unit.
Please ensure that the equipment used has the correct plugs to correlate to the Splitter Unit sockets.
Forcing incompatible sockets will damage the unit and invalidate the warranty/certification.
If the Splitter Unit gets damaged during use it must be immediately disconnected from the supply and
removed to a safe area for inspection and test. Correct use of the equipment should help to ensure
that it is not damaged. If you would like more information on ancillary products, please contact the
