5. Hold the chain in position on the bar, and
place the loop around the drive sprocket.
Lower the bar so that the bolt goes
through the hole in the attached chain
tensioner assembly.
6. Reinstall the sprocket cover and bar
mounting nuts. Turn the nuts clockwise
to tighten and secure the sprocket cover.
7. Use a screwdriver to turn the chain
tensioning screw and adjust the chain
tension. Adjust the chain tension until the
gap between the drive teeth and the bar
is between 5.5 and 7 mm. To increase
the chain tension, turn the screw
clockwise. To reduce the chain tension,
turn the screw counterclockwise.
NOTE: Frequently check the chain
tension while turning the screw.
