OPERATION

NOTICE:

Monitor the debris canister during use and empty as
needed. Operating the sweeper with a full debris canister
can damage the tool.

NOTICE:

Do not push the unit forward, unless the motor is ON.
Pushing the unit with the motor OFF could deform the
rotating brushes.



Determine the appropriate brush height and adjust
deflectors as needed.



Adjust the handle assembly to a comfortable operating
position and height.



Install the battery pack.



Stand behind the sweeper with your hands on the handle
grips.



Depress the on/off button with your foot to start the motor.

NOTE:

When the motor is ON, the rotating brushes

will spin continuously and the LED headlights will
automatically turn on. The left and right brushes rotate
in opposite directions.



Push the unit over the surface to be cleaned.

NOTE:

The sweeper is only designed to operate in a

forward direction. Do not pull the unit backwards.

NOTE:

If the sweeper becomes clogged, the motor will

automatically stop and LED headlights will flash for 10
seconds. Before resuming operation, remove the battery
pack and clear the obstruction.



When sweeping is complete, bring the unit to a halt,
depress the on/off button to turn the motor OFF, and wait
for the brushes to stop spinning.

NOTE:

When the motor is OFF, the rotating brushes will

stop spinning and the LED headlights will turn off.



Remove the battery pack.



Remove and empty the debris canister as described later
in this section.

EMPTYING THE DEBRIS CANISTER

See Figures 10 - 11, page 12.

CAUTION:

Some debris may contain sharp edges that may cause
personal injury. Wear protective gloves if necessary.

Turn the motor OFF and remove the battery pack.

Slide the latch toward the back of the unit and, using the

handle, remove the debris canister from the sweeper.

Empty and clean the debris canister.

NOTE:

Always dispose of debris properly. Check with

local codes for possible special disposal instructions.

To replace the canister, slide and hold the latch back and

place the canister back in the sweeper.

Release the latch to secure the canister in place.

Gently pull up on the canister handle to ensure the

canister is secured.
