APPLICATIONS



Spreading granular and pellet grass seed, fertilizer, weed
control, and deicer products

INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK

See Figure 2.

 WARNING:

Always remove battery pack from your tool when you are
assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when
not in use. Removing battery pack will prevent accidental
starting that could cause serious personal injury.

To install:



Insert the battery pack into the product as shown.



Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack
snap into place and that battery pack is secured in the
product before beginning operation.

To remove:



Depress the latches and remove the battery pack.

For complete charging instructions, refer to the Operator’s
Manuals for your battery pack and charger.

USING THE SEED SPREADER

See Figures 3 - 4.

NOTE:

Before beginning, determine the size of your application

area and make sure you understand the regulations and
requirements of the product you are applying. Be careful
not to overapply the product.



Place the seed spreader on a flat surface and fill the bin
with the product you wish to apply. Do not overfill.



Using the dial, choose a broadcast setting based on your
application needs. Refer to the packaging of the product
you are applying to determine the appropriate setting. If
no setting is given by the product manufacturer, refer to

General Application Settings

that follow.



If needed, adjust the edge shield to restrict the broadcast
area on one side to avoid areas you do not wish to cover
like driveways, sidewalks, etc.



Depress the switch trigger to begin spreader broadcast
and walk the outside border of the area you wish to cover.
Release the switch trigger when finished.

 NOTE:

Make sure to walk at a steady pace to apply an

even amount of the product to the desired area. Walking
too slowly or too quickly will cause the amount of product
being applied to be too heavy or too thin.



If needed, adjust the edge shield to restore the broadcast
area to its full width.



Depress the switch trigger to begin spreader broadcast
and walk the inside

area you wish to cover in uniform

parallel passes until the desired area is covered. Release
the switch trigger when finished.



Remove the battery pack from the spreader and return any
unused material back into the original product container
or bag.
