OPERATION

CONNECTING THE NOISE SUPPRESSING 
EARPHONES TO YOUR SMARTPHONE

 WARNING:

Do not insert earphones into ears before connecting to 
smartphone.

  Select and open the RYOBI

 Phone Works

 app.

 Insert the earphone plug into your smartphone’s 

headphone jack.

  Turn the volume on your smartphone to its maximum 

setting.

 

NOTE: 

Some phones have features that limit the amount 

of volume available. Turn these features off before you 
attempt to use the device.

 Open the NOISE SUPPRESSING EARPHONES App 

Segment.

OPERATING TIPS

See Figure 1.

Inserting the Noise Suppressing Earphones into your 
ears:

  Gently squeeze the foam earpiece to flatten slightly.

  Pull back on outer ear with one hand, insert the foam part 

of the earphone into the outer ear canal with the other 
hand.

 

NOTE: 

Earphones should be cleaned frequently with an 

antiseptic, such as isopropyl alcohol. Failure to clean ear-
phones regularly can lead to ear infections. If a problem 
develops, discontinue use.

USING THE NOISE SUPPRESSING EARPHONES

See Figures 2 - 4.

NOTE: 

The earphones will amplify sounds up to a pre- 

determined sound level, in which it stops amplifying and will 
deaden (block out) the sound.

 

To maximize noise suppression, make sure your hair is 
brushed away from your ears and the foam earpieces fit 
snugly in your ears.  

WARNING: 

Do not use this product if it is not completely assembled 
or if any parts appear to be missing or damaged. Use of 
a product that is not properly and completely assembled 
or with damaged or missing parts could result in serious 
personal injury.

WARNING:

Do not attempt to modify this product or create acces-
sories not recommended for use with this product. Any 
such alteration or modification is misuse and could result 
in a hazardous condition leading to possible serious 
personal injury.
