Wrench, Spare Driving Belt, Side Fence, Dust Collection Bag,
Rear Stand.

 REPLACING THE BLADE (Fig. 1, 2, 3, 4)

1. Using a spanner, remove the blade holder by loosening
the three securing nuts. (Fig 1 & 2.)

2. Push the blade out from the blade holder using a small
screwdriver. (Fig 3 &4.)

3. Place the new blade in the blade holder.

4. Insert the blade holder back in position and re-tighten the
three nuts.

 SWITCH (Fig. 5 & 6)

To start your planer depress the safety switch and trigger
switch simultaneously. To stop the planer release the trigger
switch.

 AUTOMATIC RETRACTING REAR STAND (Fig. 7)

Your planer is fitted with an automatic retracting rear stand
to prevent the blade from contacting the workbench on run
down.

WARNING: Be careful when removing and
attaching blade as it is extremely sharp and
could cause serious injury if mishandled.

WARNING: Your Ryobi planer is equipped
with a soft start feature which is provided to
increase belt life. Ensure the planer is set on
the rear retracting stand (See Fig 7) before
switching the machine on and that your hands
are well away from the blade area.

The rear stand will automatically retract as it passes over
the edge of the workpiece when you commence planing
operation (Fig. 8)
