Caution! The safety instructions must be observed when
using the machine. For your own safety and the safety of
others, please read this information carefully and keep it in
a safe place for reference.

1.

Always check the machine, the power cable and the plug
before use. Only ever use the machine if it is in perfect,
undamaged condition. Damaged parts are to be repaired
or replaced by a qualified electrician.

2.

Always pull the plug out of the power socket before
carrying out any work on the machine, before changing
the tool and in periods of non-use.

3.

The machine must not be used by anyone under the
age of 16.

4.

Always wear goggles and protective gloves when
working with the machine.

5.

To prevent injury, wear tight-fitting clothes and safety
boots.

6.

To prevent damage to your hearing, wear ear muf fs;
helmets with a visor are particularly advantageous.

7.

Make sure you have a firm footing when working with
the machine.

8.

To prevent electric shock, avoid contact with earthed
parts.

9.

Only plug in when the machine is switched off.

10. Hold the machine firmly in both hands when working with

it.

11. Make sure the machine is stored in a place inaccessible

to children.

12. Never expose the machine to rain and bad weather.

Make sure there is enough light at the working place.
Do not use power tools in the vicinitz of combustible
liquids or gases.

13. Always run the power cable away from the back of the

machine to guard it from damage.

14. For outdoors work use only suitably approved extension

cables with a min. conductor cross section of 1.5mm

The plug connectors must have earthing contacts and
be rain-water-proof.

15. Use original accessories only.

The machine should only be used in the following two ways:
as a vacuum cleaner for dry leaves and pieces of paper or
as a blower for gathering together piles of dry leaves or for
moving leaves from inaccessible areas (e.g. from beneath
cars). When working as a vacuum, the machine also acts as
a shredder, reducing the size of the leaves by a ratio of 10:
1. This allows the volume to be reduced and the preparation
of the leaves for use as compost. Any other use not stared
in this instruction manual may damage the machine and can
be dangerous for the user.

To maintain your rights under the warranty and in the interest
of products safety, please observe the safety regulations.

 PROPER USE

16. Do not use the machine to pick up humid material, water,

liquids, pieces of glas, iron, stones or tin cans, this could
be very dangerous for you and the machine.

17. Do not use the machine to pick up hot embers or material

which is burning, smoking or smouldering. Do not use
the machine to pick up material which has been
contaminated bz inflammable or explosive substances.
Do not use the machine to pick up lighted cigarettes. Do
not suck in highly inflammable fumes. Always make sure
that the material picked up by your machine is not
inflammable, toxic or explosive.

18. Do not use vacuum mode without the dust bag in place.

19. Always keep the area to be cleaned free from wires,

stones, debris, tin cans and other obstacles.

20. Avoid collisions with hard objects which could damage

your machine.

21. Keep bystanders and animals at least 5 m away from

the working area.

22. Do not manually insert objects into the blower/vac tube.

23. Make sure that the switch is in position “0” (of f), the

electricity supply is disconnected and all the rotating parts
are standstill before cleaning, carrying out inspections
or moving from one place to another.

24. Do not put part of your body such as hands and fingers

in the vacuum opening or exhaust opening.

25. Do not switch the machine on in enclosed or poorly

ventilated spaces or in the presence of inflammable and/
or explosive substances such as liquids, gas and
powders.
