Bleed the hydraulics
Air pockets in the hydraulic system can cause malfunctions during operation. Proceed as follows to bleed the sys-
tem.
1.
Turn the handwheel counterclockwise.
2.
Remove the oil filler plug.
3.
Connect the jack to compressed air. Open the air valve and allow the air to escape from the hydraulic
system for a short time.
4.
Close the handwheel by turning it clockwise.
5.
Top up the oil level as follows.

Place the jack in a horizontal position
2.
Fully lower the lift cylinder.
3.
Remove the oil filler plug
4.
Fill in HLP 46 hydraulic oil up to the top edge of the opening.
5.
Bleed the hydraulic system as described above.
6.
Reinstall the oil filler plug.
