security
scope of application
The jack is designed exclusively for raising and lowering vehicles. Raised vehicles must be secured against low-
ering and rolling away using suitable aids. No persons or other living beings may be lifted with the jack.
Use the jack only as described in this manual. Any other use is considered improper and may cause damage. The
manufacturer or dealer assumes no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
The jack must not be used if it is damaged or if a safety device is no longer working properly. Replace worn or
damaged parts or safety devices.
Do not load the jack above the maximum lifting capacity !
Note that the jack is on the ground and can become a tripping hazard. Therefore, make sure that your working
environment is tidy so that the jack is always clearly visible.
ATTENTION
user group!
Never leave children and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities (e.g. partially disabled, older
people with limited physical and mental abilities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g. older children) unsu-
pervised when handling the jack.
In general, keep children and young people under the age of 16 away from the jack. An exception is the operation
under supervision in the course of vocational training.
Before commissioning
Before each use of the jack, check its functionality, especially for oil leakage. If you notice any abnormalities, the
jack must not be used and have it checked by a qualified specialist.
Before using the jack for the first time, assemble it according to the spare parts list.
application _
Before lifting the load, the jack must be checked to ensure it is in a safe position. Also make sure that the jack and
the vehicle to be indicated are always level and on a stable surface, otherwise the jack can tip over, especially
when the load is raised. Secure the vehicle to be lifted against rolling using suitable tools such as wheel chocks.
Only apply the jack to points approved by the vehicle manufacturer and make sure that the jack and vehicle are
firmly attached to each other. After lifting, secure the vehicle using suitable aids, such as jack stands.
lifting
1.
Turn the handwheel clockwise until tight.
2.
Adjust the angle of the lever as needed and place the jack under the load in the desired position.
3.
Adjust the height of the extension screw on the lift cylinder as needed. Turn counterclockwise to raise
and clockwise to lower.
4.
Connect the compressed air shut-off fitting to compressed air (8 - max. 10 bar). The lever must be in the
OFF position, not the locked position.
5.
Now push the lever to the ON position and lock it with the locking lever. This ensures a constant supply
of air.
6.
Raise the jack by alternately raising and lowering the handle assembly.
lowering
ATTENTION
– Do not lower the load too quickly! Turn the lowering valve slowly!
1.
Release the locking lever to shut off the air supply to the air motor.
2.
Disconnect the compressed air shut-off fitting from the compressed air supply.
3.
Slowly and carefully lower the load by slowly opening the handwheel counterclockwise.
4.
If necessary, lower the extension screw on the lifting cylinder by turning it clockwise.
5.
Remove the jack.
maintenance
Maintenance and repairs on the jack may only be carried out by qualified specialists and using original spare
parts. This ensures the full functionality and safety of the jack.
Do not make any modifications to the jack. Modifications are not considered as intended and can lead to injuries
and damage.
Periodically lubricate the extension screw threads with light oil.
