using it. Read the entire manual carefully before using the Hoverboard. Save the manual
for later use.
Before you begin using the Hoverboard for the first time
• Carefully read the entire manual before you begin using the Hoverboard.
• The manual provides you with important safety information about matters such as
safe use, speed, alarm, care, etc.
• The Hoverboard should always be fully charged before you use it. Never leave the
Hoverboard unsupervised when charging it!
• Before you use the Hoverboard, it may need calibrating to function correctly – see
under CALIBRATION.
• Wear protective equipment. We recommend a helmet, as well as knee, elbow and
wrist protection.
• The legal requirements and rules regarding Hoverboards may vary between countries
and regions over time. Always check with the relevant authority regarding what app-
lies in your area at any given time.
• Operate the Hoverboard particularly carefully in the beginning before you have lear-
ned to handle it.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS AND RULES
Below are some common rules. However, they are not comprehensive and different
countries may have other requirements and rules:
• Classed as a bike in SE and as motorised equipment in NO
• Maximum speed 20 km/h in SE and NO
• Children under 15 must wear a helmet in SE; it is a recommendation in NO
• The age limit in NO is 16 years
• Equipped with a bell or other audible device, may be hand held in SE
• When driving in the dark, be equipped with reflectors and lights, permanent light front
and rear
• Must be equipped with brakes
