Russound’s ComPoint
®
system provides
doorbell, paging and true point-to-point
intercom features with high-fidelity sound.
Based on a six-zone configuration, the
system can expand to 36 zones.
The system can share speakers with
a multiroom audio system or use
dedicated in-wall, in-ceiling, or surface-
mount speakers. A convenient in-wall
speaker is available for mounting next
to the ComPoint keypads. Amplifiers
built into the keypads provide power for
communications.
ComPoint offers two keypad styles: a
basic model for systems up to six zones
and an advanced model for any size
system. The advanced keypad features
an LCD panel to display assignable room
names. Both keypad models are available
in five decorator colors and have installer-
selectable amber or green backlighting.
ComPoint also offers two weather
resistant door stations in brass and
chrome finishes, one of which includes a
low-light security camera. A door strike
release module is available for switching a
separate unit to unlock the door.
With ComPoint, you can have separate
doorbell chimes for two doors. You have a
choice of seven different chime tones that
your installer can assign. Or you can use a
separate doorbell system if you prefer.
Additional features include a Do Not
Disturb mode for zone privacy and a
Listen mode, which allows listening to one
zone from any other zone.
