23. The manufacturer does not accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused 

by improper or incorrect use, or for repairs carried out by unauthorised 

personnel. 

24. In case of technical problems, switch off the machine and do not attempt to repair 

it yourself. Return the appliance to an authorised service facility for examination, 

adjustment or repair. Always insist on the use of original spare parts. Failure to 

comply with the above mentioned pre-cautions and instructions, could affect the 

safe operation of this machine. 

 

PLEASE NOTE

: When this heater is used for the first time, the heater will emit a smell of 

burning and some smoke. This is normal and is caused by the insulation on the 

elements and some dust particles on the elements. The smell and smoke will stop after 

approximately 5 minutes. 

 

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 

  Place the heater on a stable floor surface, away from curtains, clothes and any other 

flammable materials. Make sure the controls knob is in the Off position, and the 

temperature control knob is on Min. 

  Plug the heater into the wall socket and switch on the wall socket. 

  To switch the unit on, turn the control knob on the right-hand side of the unit in a 

clock-wise direction. Select the setting you require:

  Low with Oscillation 

ƒ

  High with Oscillation 

  Next, turn the thermostat control knob (left-hand side of unit) in a clockwise direction 

to select your ideal heat setting, based on the room size and the ambient 

temperature. The power-on indicator light will go on when you turn the thermostat 

control knob. 

  When you have finished using the heater, turn the control knob to the Off position 

and the temperature control knob to the Min position. Switch off the wall socket and 

unplug the heater from the wall socket. 

PLEASE NOTE

: The over-heat protection switch will automatically switch off the heater 

in a case of overheating, and switch it on again when the heater cools down sufficiently.
