2. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
To ensure safe operation :
▪ Always check the engine before starting. This way, you can prevent an
accident or damage equipment.
▪
As a security measure, never pump flammable or corrosive liquids such as
gasoline or acids. Also, to avoid rusting the pump, never pump seawater,
chemical solutions, caustic liquids such as waste oils, wine or milk.
▪ The motor pump is intended for pumping clean water, not residual or with
impurities (sand, gravel, etc.). Dirty water with impurities can lead to premature
wear of pump elements.
▪
Place the motor pump on a secure horizontal surface. If the motor pump tilts
or overturns, gasoline may spill.
▪
To prevent fires and ensure proper ventilation, hold the pump at least 1m from
the walls of buildings or other equipment during operation. Do not place
flammable objects near the motor pump.
▪ Due to the possibility of combustion due to the hot parts of the engine during
operation of the motor pump, do not allow them to approach the place of
operation.
▪
You can intervene quickly to stop the engine and understand how to apply all
controls. Do not allow anyone to use the motor pump without first receiving the
appropriate instructions.
▪ Gasoline is extremely flammable, and under certain conditions it can become
explosive.
▪ Power gasoline in well-ventilated enclosures and with the engine off. Do not
smoke or allow to approach gasoline or spark with a place to supply or store
gasoline.

Do not overfill the tank with gasoline. After feeding, check that you have closed
the tank cap tightly.
▪
Be machineeful not to spill fuel on power. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor can ignite.
If fuel is spilled, make sure that the spilled gasoline has been wiped out before
starting the engine.
▪ Never run the engine in closed rooms or unventilated enclosures.
▪ The muffler becomes very hot during engine operation and remains hot for a
while after stopping it.
Be machineeful not to touch the muffler when hot. To avoid the possibility of accidents
by touching the hot parts of the engine, do not allow children or animals to access the
area.
