2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Your Machine. lawn mowing was built to be used in accordance with the rules of safe use
presented in this manual. As with any type of power equipment, any error or inattention
by the operator may lead to personal injury.
2.1 GENERAL OPERATIONS
⚫
Read the entire instruction manual carefully before assembling the machine.
Read, understand and follow all instructions on the machine and in the
manual before use. Become familiar with the control and use of this machine
before you start using it.
⚫
Do not allow children under 14 to use the lawn mower.
⚫
Inspect the area where the Machine will be used well. Remove all stones or
other objects that can be taken by the machine and thrown in any direction
as they can cause serious personal injury to the operator or those in the area.
Always wear protective equipment while using the machine to protect
yourself from objects that can be thrown by the machine in any direction.
⚫
Never operate the lawn mower barefoot, sandals, slippers or light footwear.
⚫
Never pull the Machine towards you while walking. If you have to go back
because of a wall or anything else that obstructs you, follow the following
steps :
A.
Get away from the machine to fully expand your arms.
B.
Make your balance with both feet on the ground.
C.
Pull the mower back slightly, no more than half the distance to you.
⚫
Do not operate the Machine when you are under the influence of alcohol or
drugs.
⚫
Never use the machine when the lawn is wet. Always ensure the position of
your feet. A slipping or falling can result in serious bodily injury. Hold the
handle firmly and walk.
⚫
Use only in daylight or in good artificial light.
⚫
Stop the engine when crossing roads with gravel.
⚫
If the equipment starts to vibrate abnormally, stop the engine and check the
cause immediately. Vibration is normally a warning about a problem.
⚫
Stop the engine and wait until the knife stops completely before removing
plant debris. Never use the machine without guards or other protective tools.
⚫
The engine and exhaust become hot and can cause burns. Don't touch them.
⚫
Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
⚫
If situations occur that are not specified in this manual, contact oneauthorized
service RURIS.
You are not allowed to:

Operate near household waste, ditches or the edge of dams.
⚫
Cut surfaces in a slope with an angle greater than 15 degrees because you risk
imbalance.
⚫
Prune the wet lawn.
