This compressor/pump is not equipped for and should not be used to supply breathing
quality air for any application of air for human consumption.
Overload protection
This compressor is equipped with an overload protection device. If the motor becomes
too hot, a thermal protection device will cut off the power to the motor. When the motor
temperature returns to normal, the power supply will be restored automatically.
Extension cords and rollers
In general, the use of an extension cable is not recommended. A longer air line is
recommended, as voltage drop of extension cables may cause damage to the motor and
will void the warranty. If an extension cord is to be used, for lengths up to 5 meters, an
approved 15 amp cord should be used.
Do not overload the power cord.
Never pull or tug the power cord to disconnect it from the power outlet. Never carry or
pull the compressor by the power cord. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, solvents
and sharp edges. If the power cord becomes damaged, replace it at an authorized RURIS
service center.
Checking damaged parts
Before using the compressor, it should be carefully checked to determine whether it will
operate correctly and perform its intended function. Check the correct alignment of
moving parts and make sure they do not bump. Check for broken or missing parts and
replace or repair them at an authorized service center. Check for any other condition that
may affect compressor operation. A damaged guard or any other part of the compressor
must be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service center.
Compressor disconnection
Make sure it is disconnected from the power supply and the tank is empty when not in
use, before servicing, lubrication or before making adjustments to the air lines.
