This section gives full details of the

service procedures necessary to

maintain your tractor at peak ef-

ficiency while the lubrication and

maintenance chart provides a ready

reference to these requirements.

Pre-Start cHecKS

To avoid problems it is recommend-

ed that a range of checks be carried

out daily before starting the tractor.
For full details of the items and fre-

quency please refer to the tables on

page 5-6, 5-7 and 5-8.

Do not overfill the crankcase

with oil.

iMPortant

Pull out the stick, wipe it and dip in

the oil sump.
Ensure that oil level is between the

upper and lower mark near the up-

per mark. If too low add oil, but nev-

er excess 100hrs of service interval.

Upper Level

Engine Oil Gauge

Remove the radiator cap and en-

sure that the coolant is up to the fill

er neck and that it is clean with the

correct anti-freeze or anti corrosion

inhibitor in it.
If the coolant is a rusty color, drain

the system completely and refill with

the correct mixture of water and an-

ti-freeze or corrosion inhibitor.
