RG-S6220 Series Extension Module Installation Guide
RG-S6220 series switches do not support the hot-plugging of the extension module. Power off the switch
before installing or replacing the extension module.

Step 1: Wear anti-static gloves, take a new extension module out of the package.
Step 2: Pinch the captive screws on the extension module, and leave the angle between the ejector and the module front
panel to the maximum. Insert the extension module into the chassis slowly along the guide rail and use the ejector to push
the module into the chassis. Make sure that the extension module is in good contact with the slot, as shown in Figure 1-1.
Insert the extension module smoothly. Pay attention to the direction of the extension panel to avoid wrong
insertion. If the position is not proper, withdraw the inserted module and re-insert it.
Step 3: Tighten the captive screws with a screwdriver to fix the extension module in the switch chassis.
If the screws cannot be tightened, it is probably because the extension module is not installed properly.
Please check it carefully.
