Commissioning
Commissioning is only possible if the installation is correct as in cap.2.1 wiring diagram described.
If delivered with an actuator and valve, the controller is factory commissioned. A new initialisation is not necessary.
The controller is ready to operate.
By retro-fitting in an actuator or changing the controller or the potentiometer, a new initialisation will be necessary.
To initialise the controller, the LED must be flashing. To make it flash, delete initialisation data (Reset) (see cap. 3.1).

Delete initialisation data (Reset)
Before a new initialisation can be performed, the existing data must be deleted.
Deleting the existing data:
Press all 3 keys together longer than 10 sec. (All LEDs illuminate).
After all LEDs illuminate for 2 sec. the service LED is flashes
. The controller waits for password input, to start the automatic
initialisation.

Initialisation
The following things must be done exactly for correct initialisation.
1.
Potentiometer should be adjusted as described (Section 2)
2.
Switch manual mode on (see cap. 4.1 manual mode)
3.
Enter password
4.
Drive valve to middle position (+/- 20%).
5.
Switch manual mode off, initialisation starts automatically.
6.
Power off after initalisation, power on RE3446 in hand mode
7.
Switch into automatic mode

After entering the correct password, the valve can be operated via the keys "OPEN" and "CLOSE". Drive the valve to the middle
po/- 20%. It is not possible to start the initialisation near the end positions.
