Field
Description
DNS
This is the IP of the DNS Server on the network where the gateway looks
up IP Addresses. This is mandatory for E-mail.
PLC Security Mask 1
This field limits what controllers can connect to and communicate with the
gateway based on their IP Address. This can be used to only allow a
specific IP Address or a specific IP Address range. The value 255 is the
wildcard value. A value of 0.0.0.0 or 255.255.255.255 allows any Ethernet
device to connect. Security Mask 1 takes precedence over Security Mask
2.
PLC Security Mask 2
Secondary security mask field that is only used when PLC Security Mask 1
fails.
