13 USING THE STOVE
13.1 Power on
Before each ignition, make sure that the burn pot is completely empty and correctly posi-
tioned in its seat.
To turn on the stove keep the key pressed for a few seconds.
The flame icon will start to flash, during the ignition phase until it remains fixed when the stove is on.
Automatic ignition: the stove is equipped with an automatic device that allows pellet
ignition without the use of other traditional ignitors.
Avoid manually turning on the stove if the automatic ignition system is compromised.
The first time you light the stove, smoke and unpleasant odours might form and escape
due to the evaporation or drying of some of the materials used. This phenomenon will
gradually disappear.
During the first ignitions, it is advisable to keep the premises well ventilated.
13.2 Modifying the parameters
It is possible to change the operating parameters of the stove according to what has already been
stated.
The set values will be maintained until the next change, even with the stove off or
disconnected from the power supply.
13.3 Power off
To switch off the stove, keep the key pressed for a few seconds; the flame icon will go out.
To switch it on again, it is advisable to wait for the stove to cool completely.
It is advisable to turn off the stove strictly following the above and always avoid doing so by
unplugging it from the power supply.
13.4 Re-ignition after a power failure
In the event of a power failure, the stove will automatically switch back on, verifying the safety
conditions, when the power supply returns.
It will be necessary to re-set the stove (see para. “12.3 Initial settings" on page 85).
13.5 Operation with room sensor on stove
The stove can be switched on/off manually or programmed.
The stove modulates the power according to the room temperature detected by the probe on board
(i.e. the stove attempts to maintain the desired temperature by consuming as little fuel as possible).
If the user has enabled “Eco-mode”, the stove switches off, instead of modulating, when the set
temperature has been reached and switches on again when the room temperature falls below the
set delta.
It is possible to set the desired room temperature in the temperature menu
