PRODUCTION PERIOD
Start to collect floor eggs every 2 hours, directly after you have
found the first eggs, and the lights are switched on.
Stop floor egg collection in the late afternoon, when all hens
have laid their egg.
This effort in the early laying period will later on drastically
reduces the number of floor eggs.
You can stop this hourly collection until the number of floor
eggs is reduced to less than 2%.

Do not install the slats.
Block the passage under the nests.

Fully cover the nest
with (preferably) black plastic.
* Put
5 cm litter
into the house.

Lower the drinking line
(near the nest) to the correct height.
AT 6 WEEKS
* Install
A-perches
(1 per 500 birds) in the house to teach the birds to jump.
* Use a
poultry perch guard
to protect the feeding and drinking installation.
AT 16 WEEKS

Remove the litter
where the slats will be installed.
Take the excess litter out of the house.

with black plastic.

off) and gently move the birds onto the slats.
