ATTENTION Always stop and unplug your vacuum cleaner before changing the attachments.
2 • CONNECTING THE CORD AND STARTING THE DEVICE
Fully unroll the cord of the appliance (fig. 6) and plug it in.
Press the On-off switch (fig. 7) and the appliance starts functioning.
Power mechanical speed variator* to the stick
(fig. 9): Open the variator of the stick to reduce the suc-
tion capacity, especially if a surface or object is plated and blocks the opening of the attachment used.
3 • ASPIRATION OF LIQUIDS
Unlock the holding tabs (fig. 10), take out the motor unit and remove the paper bag*.
• Use the home furnishings nozzle*, the all floors nozzle* for liquids*.
• For spaces more difficult to reach, use the corners nozzle* or even the stick directly, for example to
empty a clogged sink. When the maximum liquid in the tub is reached, the safety float automatically
interrupts vacuuming (fig. 10).
Stop the appliance
, unlock the holding tabs, take out the motor unit and empty the tub. If the appliance
topples over during use, the vacuuming is interrupted as well.
Stop the appliance
and wait for the float to lower, then start again.
IMPORTANT After sucking up liquids, always properly dry the tub, the foam material: protection filter of
the motor, and all the attachments as well before using the appliance again especially with a paper bag
in order to suck up dust and dry matter.
4 • BLOWING FUNCTION
It allows to dust the tools, to clean spaces difficult to reach, to eliminate leaves and to dry attachments
after liquid suction. To prepare the appliance for blowing:
- Remove the air vent by pressing the latch situated underneath (fig. 16).
- Take out the foam material filter (I) as indicated in fig.17.
- Position the end piece of the hose (fig. 18).
5 • STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION OF THE APPLIANCE
After use: Stop and unplug the appliance.
Wind up the cord (fig. 11).
Arrange the tubes on the attachments support.
Wind up the hose around the tub and arrange the stick in the support (point E of the description section).
You can transport the appliance in one hand thanks to its handle
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1 • CHANGING THE BAG* (ref ZR816)
IMPORTANT Always stop and unplug your vacuum cleaner before its maintenance or cleaning.
Regularly verify and clean your vacuum cleaner and its different filters.
Never operate your vacuum cleaner without foam material: motor protection filter.
Change the paper bag* when the suction capacity drops abnormally. Verify beforehand if any of the at-
tachments is clogged. Always unplug the appliance. Unlock the holding tabs and take out the motor
unit. Remove with one hand the detachable nozzle, hold the paperboard part and cautiously lift the
bag* and take it out of the tub without folding it. Place a new paper bag.
2 • CLEANING THE FOAM MATERIAL: MOTOR PROTECTION FILTER
Always unplug the appliance. Unlock the holding tabs and take out the motor unit.
Take out the foam material (fig. 12) and clean it with water and mild detergent (fig. 13).
Rinse and dry well the foam material before replacing it.
IMPORTANT It is absolutely necessary to change the foam material when torn.
* Depending on the model: equipment specific to certain models or attachments available as option.
