ENGLISH
Use one hand to grip the control handle
(3)
on the cleaning equipment. Use the other hand
to start the drill
(2)
moving slowly and rotating to the right.
The spiral should bore its way into the existing blockage and should not be pressed
in.
Increase the speed depending on the cleaning problem.
Clearing the blocked pipe:
Use the feeder to insert the spiral
(5)
into the pipe to be cleaned until resistance (blockage)
is perceptible.
If counterpressure (blockage) is perceptible, switch the control handle
(3)
to neutral position
(spiral rotates on the spot) until the counterpressure has been dissipated.
Switch the control handle
(3)
to forward motion until counterpressure (blockage) is percepti-
ble anew and relieve again.
Repeat this procedure until the blockage has been cleared.
Retracting the spiral from the pipe:
Once the blockage has been cleared successfully, set the control handle
(3)
to backward
motion while the drill
(2)
is rotating to the right in order to retract the spiral
(5)
back into the
spiral container
(1)
.
Please make sure that the spiral is retracted without great effort. If retraction is
difficult, allow the spiral to re-enter the pipe for a short distance. Do not use force to
retract the spiral!
Important! The spiral must never be retracted inside the drum. Approx. 10 - 15 cm of
the spiral remain on the outside!

Taking out of service
Remove plug from mains socket.

Care and Maintenance
It is sensible to remove moisture and dirt arising from the cleaning of pipes from the spiral before
it is pushed back into the spiral container. If this is not possible, the spiral should be completely
pulled out of the container at regular intervals, cleaned and preserved with "ROWONAL".
New spirals must be bent to a length of approx. 10 cm at the rear end of the spiral, before being
inserted into the container.
Attention! Remove plug from mains socket before all maintenance and repair work!
Attention! Do not use any cleaning agents containing solvents for cleaning of the
plastic parts.
