5 Care and Maintenance
Disconnect mains power supply before carrying out any maintenance!
5.1 Care
The equipment should be handled with care and cleaned regularly.
After every use the screws and tools should be cleaned and treated. We recommend our special
cleaning agent „ROWONAL“.
5.2 Maintenance and Repair B
All maintenance and repair work should only be carried out by experienced
service personnel.
Tensioning the V-belts (fig.B-1):
Î Release the fastening screw on the V-belt tensioner and move as indicated by the arrow.
The V belt is correctly tensioned when one can turn the unsupported part of the belt
through 90 degrees.
Î Tighten the fastening screw
Tire pressure (fig. B-2):
Î Regularly check the tire pressure, if necessary with a pump valve automatically inflate to
approximately 1.5 bar.

The relevant accessories and an order form can be found from Page 98 onwards.
7 Disposal
7.1 Metal, electrical and electronic parts
Parts of the unit are valuable materials and can be recycled. Approved and certified recycling
companies exist for this purpose. Metals must be sorted and delivered separately to a disposal
company.
Please consult your responsible refuse disposal authority for how to dispose of unusable parts in
an environmentally responsible way (e.g. electronic scrap):
For EU countries only:
Do not dispose of electric tools with domestic waste. In accordance with European
Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its
implementation as national law, electric tools that are no longer serviceable must be
collected separately and utilised for environmentally compatible recycling.
8 Customer service
The Rothenberger service locations or else the manufacturer with his repair department are
available to help you. Needless to say, we will also send you spare parts at short notice. Please
contact please your retailer or the manufacturer.
