ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
o
CAUTION:
The quartz heater must only be connected to the mains and turned on
o
when it is installed in a horizontal position on the wall. If it is turned on before it is
assembled and when it is not in a horizontal position, the heating elements may be
damaged.
Remove the two polystyrene parts from the front grille that are used for
protection during transport.
The quartz heater must only be installed in a horizontal position on the wall and
not in a vertical position. It is not permitted to attach the appliance to the
ceiling.
When assembling the appliance, the minimum distances shown in Fig. 1 must
be adhered to.
In order to be able to attach the quartz heater to the wall, both clamping
screws for the pivot hinge must be loosened a little (Fig. 2). When you loosen
the two Phillips head screws, you can remove the cover of the console over the
connection terminal. This loosens the pivot limit and you can fold the quartz
heater forwards.
Taking into account the minimum clearances (Fig. 1), you can mark out the
dowel drilling holes. Set the distance of the holes - 260 mm and dowels (Fig. 3).
Attach the quartz heater on the wall with the dowel screws.
After the appliance has been attached to the wall and connected, flip the upper
part of the housing upwards, insert and screw on the console cover. This covers
the connection compartment and the pivoting range of the upper part is limited
to 30°. Set the appropriate tilt angle and fix the swivel mechanism in place by
tightening the two screws (see Fig. 2).
Insert the plug into the socket. The appliance is now ready for use.
