SETTING UP YOUR FOOD SLICER
o
Place your appliance on an even and clean work surface. Before using it for the first
time, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it.
SLIDING CARRIAGE AND FOOD HOLDER
o
Hook the sliding carriage (8) from the right into the side guide groove and fold
down.To cut the food, you must place the food holder (7) on the sliding carriage.
o
You only remove the sliding carriage (8) and food holder (7) when you are cutting
bread, because the size and shape of the bread makes it impossible to use the sliding
carriage and food holder.
SWITCHING ON/OFF
o
Push the safety switch (1) forwards into position "I" and hold this position. Now press
the pressure switch (2) down and release the safety switch (1). The pressure switch
(2) now automatically stays on and the food slicer is ready for use. To turn it off again,
push the safety switch (1) forwards again. This releases the pressure switch (2) and
the safety switch automatically returns to the "0" position.
THICKNESS SETTING
o
Use the thickness setting knob (10) to adjust the slicer to the thickness you want, you
can use the scale for this (0 - 25 mm). For safety reasons, you must always put the
stop plate (9) in the zero position.
CHANGING THE BLADES
o
To remove the serrated blade (11), turn the blade lock (12) with a coin in a clockwise
direction until you release the lock. Now take the serrated blade (11) carefully out of
the holder. Insert the specialised meat blade (14). Turn the blade lock (12) counter-
clockwise up to the stop.
o
Caution! The blades are very sharp. Be careful when you use them: Risk of injury!
