Do not place the kettle on hot surfaces otherwise it
may melt.
o
Only use the kettle with the corresponding base
supplied.
o
Remove the kettle from the base to fill it up. Only
fill it with water, not milk, coffee or similar drinks
or liquids.
o
If you overfill or if it you use it when the lid is not
on properly, the boiling water can spray out.
o
Only use the kettle on a stable surface and never
immerse it in water.
o
The kettle has a safety temperature limiter, which
switches the kettle off automatically if it is used
without any water in it. If this should happen, un-
plug the kettle from the mains and let the kettle
cool down before filling it with water.

Before using the kettle for the first time, fill it with
water and let it boil. You should then pour this wa-
ter away.
o
Before removing the kettle from its base make
sure that it has turned itself off automatically. If
this does not happen, turn it off by hand.
o
Do not use the appliance if the cable, switch or
other components are damaged. Only qualified
