To avoid fire, electric shock and personal injury, the
cord, plug or any part of the toaster shall not be
immersed into water or any other fluid. It shall al-
ways be unplugged when not in use and before
cleaning.

The use of the appliance shall be avoided near sinks
or other vessels containing water, and with wet
hands.

The appliance shall not be operated with a dam-
aged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunc-
tions, or has been damaged in any manner. It shall
be returned to the nearest authorized service facil-
ity for examination, repair or adjustment.

The power cord shall not hang over the edge of a
table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
o
The appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote
control system.
o
If the use of an extension cord is required, it should
be arranged so that it will not drape over
the counter-top or table top where it can
be pulled on by children or tripped over
accidentally.
o
The appliance shall not be placed on or near a hot
gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
