Overview
Your SRA-8802 is a 3G/HD/SD Multi-Definition SDI distribution amplifier, capable of
equalizing and reclocking all common serial digital signals. The outputs are non-inverting
making it an excellent ASI distribution amplifier. An LED indicator at the front of the card
identifies the presence of incoming video, simplifying system troubleshooting.
Features
The SRA-8802 includes the following features:
• Equalizes and reclocks SDI signals of 270Mbps, 1.485Gbps, and 2.97Gbps
• Accepts DVB-ASI (EN 50083-9), and SMPTE 310 signals
• Flexible channel configurations:
› Operate as a single 1x8 with a backup input for auto fail-over ( requires the
8320AR-300 Full Rear Modules)
› Operate as a single 1x8 with a backup input for auto fail-over and a bypass relay
between SDI IN and OUT 1 (
requires the 8320AR-306 Full Rear Modules)
› Operate as a single 1x4 (requires the 8320AR-301 Split Rear Module)
• Configure and monitor via DashBoard
• Automatic detection of incoming data rate
• Automatically mutes the channel output when a loss of input occurs
• Automatically performs a fail-over switch between the two SDI inputs (
requires the
8320AR-300, or 8320AR-306 Full Rear Modules )
• All outputs are non-inverting
• LED indicator for signal presence
• Excellent input and output return loss
• Fits DFR-8321 and OG3-FR series frames
