TROUBLE SHOOTING
POWER LOSS OR SUDDEN STOPPING OF THE ENGINE
• Check whether the fuel tank is empty.
• The mixture does not reach the carburettor.
CLEAN THE FUEL FILTER IN THE FUEL TANK.
• There is water in the mixture. Drain and rinse all the fuel system.
• The air filter is dirty. Clean the air filter.
• There are carbon deposits in the cylinder exhaust pipe or the muffler. Clean those or change the
muffler.
BAD QUALITY CUT
• Overloaded cutting due to too high grass or too thick for engine power.
• Foreign material rapped around the spool.
LINE WILL NOT ADVANCE
• Line welded to itself. Lubricate with silicone spray.
• Not enough line on the spool. Install more line.
Refer to “Replacement of the cutting line” earlier in this manual.
• Line worn too short. Pull lines while alternately pressing down on and releasing bump knob.
• Line tangled on spool. Remove line from the spool and rewind. Refer to “Replacement of the
cutting line” earlier in this manual.
• Engine speed too slow. Advance line at full throttle.
