WARNING!
LOW OR NO MAINTENANCE OF THE BATTERY.
Charge these types of battery slowly and keep on checking the voltage at the battery terminal
with a multimeter. When the voltage reaches 14.4 Volts for a 12 Volt battery or 28.8 Volt for a
24 volt battery. STOP the charging.
END OF CHARGE
When charging is completed turning the mains switch in off position and disconnect the
mains cable from the mains plug. Disconnect the charging clamps from the battery terminals
and put the battery charger in a dry place. Refit the caps of the battery
STARTING
WARNING!
THE STARTING FUNCTION MUST ONLY BE USED WHEN THEN A BATTERY DOES
NOT HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY TO MAKE THE STARTER MOTOR ROTATE.
WARNING:
THE USE OF THE STARTER FUNCTION ON SOME VEHICLES MAY DAMAGE THE
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. PLEASE CHECK WITH THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER AND VEHICLES'
HAND BOOK BEFORE USING. THE OPERATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED
TO THE VEHICLE.
To use the start function:
Ensure that the power to the charger is switched OFF
Connect the positive charging lead to the appropriate output terminal on the charger for the
type of battery to be charged ie 12 or 24 volt
Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal (+) of the battery and the black clamp to the
negative terminal (-).
WARNING!
IF THE CLAMPS ARE CONNECT THE WRONG WAY SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE
VEHICLES' ELECTRICAL SYSTEM MAY RESULT.
SET the mode / charge switch to
Turn the charger ON
Start the vehicle immediate with the following procedure.
START 3 Seconds ON, 120 Seconds OFF, 5 CYCLES MAXIMUM
When the vehicle starts, turn OFF the charger and disconnect the charging clamps.
WARNING!
THE STARTING OPERATION MUST FOLLOW STRICTLY THE CYCLES WORK/
PAUSE INDICATED ON THE STARTER. FAILING TO FOLLOW THIS WILL RESULT IN THE MAIN
IN LINE FUSE BLOWING
AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY OF THE CHARGER.
NOTE:
IF THE VEHICLE DOES NOT START, THEN BOOST CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR 10 TO
15 MINUTES TO MAKE STARTING EASIER
