Timecode
The timecode feature provides data extraction from various sources, and provides formatting and
re-insertion controls for inserting the timecode into the output video.

Figure 4.4 is an example ( A ) in which received 720p 59.94 SDI video is down-converted to 525i
59.94.

If the incoming video contains ATC_LTC timecode data (as indicated in the status fields in
DashBoard), set the
Source Priority drop-down lists to include ATC_LTC timecode data as a
choice. This extracts ATC_LTC timecode data from the incoming video.
Figure 4.7 is an example ( B ) of providing both SDI ATC_VITC and VITC waveform timecode
data in the converted SD output video.
