To save on batteries, the red backlight 
goes out after approx. 10 seconds. To 
reactivate the light, turn the Gourmet-
Thermometer off and on again.

To turn it off, press the on/off button  . 
Clean the temperature sensor after use 
and cover the tip with the protective 
cap. 

Please make sure that the selected 
measuring unit remains unchanged 
when turning the thermometer off. 

Caution:

The Gourmet-Thermometer switches 
off automatically when out of use for 
15 minutes.
