Setting up the grill
Place the grill on a stable and even surface. If necessary, adjust the foot screws so that the grill does not tilt or rock. The grill functions best when
it is sheltered from wind. Keep the grill at least 60 cm away from combustible materials and objects. Keep the gas cylinder out of direct sunlight
and away from other heat sources. The metal screen that is provided for protection of the gas cylinder should be used.
The gas cylinder MUST be placed next to the grill when in use. The hose must NOT be allowed to rest against hot parts of the grill. The hose
should not be bent or allowed to rest in such a way that it strains or pulls on its attachments or couplings.
PLEASE NOTE! NEVER place the gas cylinder under the grill/burners when the grill is in use! This could also lead to scratches and abrasions on
the coated surface, which causes a deterioration of the product's rust protection.
Before you start the gas grill
Before you use the grill for the first time, the drip tray should be filled with a 10 mm thick layer of grease-absorbing, non-combustible material, for
example fine-grain sand. This material is used to soak up the grease and oils that can drip from the food when it is being cooked. Failure to place
such material in the drip tray could cause the grease/oil to ignite. A useful tip is to place aluminium foil in the drip tray to make handling the sand
(or other material) easier.
We recommend that you wash the grill grates before using them for the first time.
Connecting the gas cylinder
The following is required for connection of the grill:

Gas cylinder P6, P11, PC5 or PC10.
These can be purchased at appropriate dealers or retail outlets and can be replaced or filled when empty.
•
Regulator with connection 29-30 mbar.
•
Hose intended for use with gas.
•
Hose clamps of the appropriate size.
Connecting the hose between the regulator and the grill
There is a connection nipple on the back of the grill. The hose from the gas cylinder's regulator should be connected to this nipple. (See figures 1
and 2.)

Attach the hose clamp (see figure 3).
Press the hose into place up to the last two grooves (see figure 4), then push up the hose clamp and pull tight.

Some useful tips!
Lubricate the nipple with soap so that it is easier to get the hose into position. Soften up the hose by pressing it between your thumb and index
finger a few times. Turn the hose at the same time as you press it.
On the SWEDISH market the hose should only be placed ”half way” onto the nipple, but it is important that it at least reaches the last three
grooves. (Figure 4)
