3.2 Safety before Starting
NOTICE
When first switching on, you should get the assistance from someone with experience
of the appliance and with hoof care.
Do not carry out hoof care immediately after feeding!
WARNING
These instructions must be carefully read and followed before starting and operating
the equipment.
If the hoof trimming crush is not attached to a suitable towing vehicle, it must be
anchored to the ground!
Adequate ventilation must be ensured when carrying out work.
When working on the hoof trimming crush when it is attached to a tractor, the tractor
must be switched off and secured against re-starting (ignition key removed) and
rolling (handbrake, chocks)
The appliance may only be operated by persons who are familiar with the intended
area of use and handling cattle.
A general visual check of the hoof trimming crush for any changes must be carried
out before use.

inspection of the electrical installations by a specialist required)
