4 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION / APPLICATIONS
Fanergy high performance fans are designed as first response tools for fire
departments and rescue organizations and serve for fast, forced ventilation of
spaces in buildings in cases of smoke and heat build-up resulting from fire. The
device may be used for the intended purposes only. The fan is not designed
for continuous duty for space cooling, especially in the partial load range.
Continuous duty is possible for up to 12 hours at 100% power. The device should
be paused for approx. two hours afterwards.
The primary purpose of use is:

Rapid smoke evacuation from burning structures
▪
Quick improvement of visibility for emergency crews
▪
Rapid reduction of ambient temperatures (e.g. prevention of flashover)
▪
Reduction of search time for missing persons
FANERGY high performance fans have a swivelling fan unit to optimally direct
airflow at access or air intake openings.
Also available as options:
▪
Water vapour cartridge (optional): for producing water spray, for suppressing
gases and vapours or cooling objects. Expansion foam can be created
quickly and easily in connection with a foam net, foaming agent, inline
inductor Z2 and/or air tube.
▪
LED light package (optional): for safe operation of the instrument in the dark
and to mark the location of the instrument.
