Installing the MultiVideo

DP

Switch

Installation of the MultiVideo DP is very simple.

Ensure that power is disconnected from MultiVideo DP.
1. Connect DisplayPort cables and USB type A to type B cables between each computer and its

respective ports on the MultiVideo DP.

2. If desired, use 3.5mm stereo jack audio cables (male to male) to connect the computers’ analog audio

line out ports to their respective audio input ports on the switch.

3.  Optionally connect a serial control cable from an external controller to the DB9 connector.
4.  Connect the console displays to the video output connectors.
5.  Connect the USB keyboard and mouse to the unit’s console keyboard and mouse connectors located

at the lower right hand side of the rear panel.

6.  Optionally connect analog audio output equipment to the 3.5mm analog output stereo jack.
7.  Optionally connect up to two USB 2.0 devices (flash drive, printer, etc.) to the USB 2.0 connectors.
8.  Apply power to the MultiVideo DP.
