BIOS Setup

Suspend Mode

This field is used to select the type of Suspend mode.

S1(POS) 

Enables the Power On Suspend function.

S3(STR) 

Enables the Suspend to RAM function.

Repost Video on S3 Resume

When  this  field  is  set  to  Auto,  the  system  will  initialize  the  VGA  BIOS  when 
it  wakes  up  from  the  S3  state.  This  can  be  configured  only  if  the  “Suspend 
Mode”  field  is  set  to  “S3(STR)”.  When  this  feature  is  disabled,  the  system 
resume  time  is  shortened  but  system  will  need  an  AGP  driver  to  initialize 
the  VGA  card.  Therefore,  if  the  AGP  driver  of  the  card  does  not  support  the 
initialization  feature,  the  display  may  work  abnormally  or  not  function  after 

resuming from S3.
