To install batteries:

Turn the Turtle over so he’s lying on his shell.

Lift up the flap in the middle. Using a small positive screw-driver, remove the small
screw. Open the battery compartment and insert 3 AAA batteries, observing the polarity
indicated. Replace the battery compartment lid and the screw. Close the flap again
(Velcro holds it closed).

Slide the ON/OFF switch to ON if it is not already in the ON position.
Location

For projection, place the Turtle on a flat, stable surface, near the centre of a dark room,
approximately 5 to 6 feet from the ceiling. The projected effect is most effective on light-
coloured walls and ceilings, and in darkened environments.
OPERATION
1.
Press the ON/OFF button (located at the back of the shell – the button to the left). The
light will come on.
2.
The light will shut off after 45 minutes. Re-press the ON/OFF button to re-start the timer.
3.
To change the colour of the projection, use the three buttons that are together towards
the back of the shell. Left to right these are labelled: amber blue green.
4.
Switch OFF after use. If the Turtle will not be used for long periods, remove the battery.
