Troubleshooting
In the unlikely event of product failure, please check the following:
Problem: Individual electrical products not working
• Check that product is properly plugged into one of the sockets inside the unit, and that the
corresponding ON/OFF switch is set to ON (the switches with the product images on).
• Make sure the power lead is plugged in to a wall socket and that this is switched ON
• Check the 13 Amp fuse in the plug
Problem: The mirror behind the Waterless Tube is cloudy
• Remove the protective film from the mirror before use
Problem: The Milky Way mat does not light up
• Check that the boss from the mat (the solid plug at the end of the fibre optic cable that
comes out of the carpet) is secured inside the light source. This light source is located on
the bottom of the Snoezelen® SenStation™, in the void between the backs of the Deluxe
Wall Panels. The boss is secured inside the front port (metal tubular opening) of the light
source by a screw. It may be necessary to temporarily remove a Deluxe Wall Panel from the
Snoezelen® SenStation™ to access this light source
Problem: The fibre optic strands near the Waterless Tube do not light up
• Check that the boss from the fibre optic harness (the solid plug at the end of the fibre
optic cables) is secured inside the light source. This light source is located towards the top
of the Snoezelen® SenStation™, above the Waterless Tube. The boss is secured inside the
front port (metal tubular opening) of the light source by a screw. Check that the power lead
at the back of the light source is firmly connected to the back of the light source. To access
this light source, unlock and open the door on the top of the SenStation™. Take care to
make sure the hinged door does not fall back onto the 8 Colour Conroller (in the recess at
the top) or onto the Projector.
Problem: The Waterless Tube does not light up
• Check that the power cable is connected to the chassis of the Waterless Tube (the cable is
plugged into the circular socket on the red sticker of the round base of the tube). The
power supply for the Waterless Tube is next to the Light Source for the Milky Way Mat (on
the base, inside the unit, in the void between the Deluxe Wall Panels).
Problem: The Waterless Tube does not react to its controller
Check the controller’s battery. If the buttons and the display do not illuminate at all,
replace the battery immediately.
Check the controller’s display. If the display says “oor” this means “out of range”. To
reset this, do not press the controller for 60 seconds. In the meantime use other
ROMPA® Wi Fi products (e.g. Deluxe Wall Panels, 8 Colour Controller) to reset the
controller. After 60 seconds, use the controller again and it should work.
Problem: The Aroma Panel freezes when pressing the coloured ‘switches’.
Turn the panel off and leave it for 60 seconds, turn the panel back on.
