Prior to initial use
For a start, please clean the appliance as well as all accessories. For more detailed information please refer
to “Cleaning and maintenance”.
• This electrical appliance complies with the relevant safety standards. In case
of signs of damage to the appliance or the power cord, unplug the
appliance immediately.
• Repairs may be executed by authorised specialist shops only. Improper
repairs may result in considerable dangers for the user.
• Improper use and disregard of this instruction manual will void all warranty
claims.
Safety advices for using the appliance:
Attention: Hazard of injury!
• Do not touch the sharp blade!
• Handle cutting tools with care to avoid injuries!
• Do not operate the appliance near sources of heat (oven, gas flame etc.) or
in explosive environments, where inflammable liquids or gases are located.
• Place it beyond children’s reach.
• Avoid any no-load operation and do not handle the appliance with wet hands!
• The appliance is not suitable for chopping bones, hard kernels, frozen food
or similar hard ingredients.
• During operation, do not touch the running blade – neither stir in the beans
tank with a spoon or other objects! To avoid injuries it is imperative to keep
away your hair, hands and clothes from the running blade.
• The appliance has a delayed motor stop after it has been switched off.
Therefore, please wait until it has stopped before emptying the tank.
• Always unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning!
• Use original accessories only.
• Pull the power plug after each use for safe switch-off.
