UK style plug wiring instructions (in the UK only)
This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp
plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour
coded: blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green
(& yellow).
Important information
This appliance is not for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks. Failure to
follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating
label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the maximum usage
time). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.
Use of the beaters and dough hooks
With those accessories you can beat, knead and mix. It is recommended to make round
movements or movements in form of an 8.
Make sure the speed switch is in “0” position and the appliance is unplugged from the
power supply.
Insert the accessories in the openings at the bottom of the appliance and if necessary,
turn them lightly until you hear a light click.
Check their locking by pulling on them lightly.
The beaters can be mounted equally in both openings, but for the dough hooks, you
have to respect the sense indicated in page 4 (the hook fitted with a disk has to be
placed in the largest of the two openings of the appliance).
Press the ejection button to remove the accessories.
Use of the stick attachment
With this accessory you can mix food as for example vegetables to prepare soups but also
to mix liquids. It only has to be used in a vertical position with blades facing downwards.
Make sure the speed switch is in “0” position and the appliance is unplugged from the
power supply.
Do not forget to remove the other accessories from the appliance.
Slide the protection valve on the backside of the appliance upwards. Then you will see
the opening for the stick attachment.
Insert the stick attachment in the opening and screw the stick clockwise. Using gentle
hand pressure only ensures that the shaft is fully tightened on to the motor unit.
To disassemble the stick attachment, switch off the appliance, unscrew the stick
attachment anticlockwise and close the protection valve.
Caution, the blades of the stick attachment are very sharp, pay attention not to get cut
when cleaning them.
