53 Operation
Inserting the Batteries into the Thermostat
– Pull the battery cover off the thermostat .
– Insert the AA type batteries into the battery compartments
provided . Pay attention to the correct polarity of the batte-
ries .
– Place the battery cover on the thermostat . Make sure that
the small arrow symbols on the cover and on the thermos-
tat are in the same position .
– When the batteries are successfully inserted, the thermostat
motor will turn on and „Ins“ and a rotating „n“ will appear
on the display .
– When the thermostat is ready to be attached to the heating
valve, „AdA“ appears on the display .
– When the batteries in the thermostat are exhausted, „bat“
appears on the display .
